Born in the Philippines, Benelyn was raised by a single mother after the tragic passing of her father. From a young age, she learned the value of hard work, selling plastic bags at the local farmers market and working at McDonald’s to support herself and fund her education. Despite the challenges, Benelyn's determination never wavered. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and began teaching high school, a testament to her commitment to empowering others through knowledge.

Seeking better opportunities, Benelyn moved to Canada, where she continued to work diligently while exploring new passions. It was here that she discovered her love for lash extensions—a form of artistry that allowed her to blend creativity with precision. After training at Kaylash Academy, in Edmonton. Benelyn began lashing part-time while working at a clinic, gradually building her skills and confidence.

In 2021, Benelyn moved to Duncan, BC, where she found a supportive community that embraced her talents. Through hard work and dedication, she built a loyal clientele and, by June 2024, transitioned to full-time lashing. Today, Lashes by Benelyn stands as a testament to Benelyn’s journey—a thriving business where she transforms and enhances her clients' beauty through customized lash services.
